Cormac Neeson, Lead Singer of The Answer said, “The Answer are back and we’re gonna revive rock n roll from the grassroots up. We had two great years playing in some of the biggest venues in the world in front of a ridiculous amount of people but this time around we’re looking for something different. So that’s why on this first leg of the Revival tour we’re taking our new album back to some of those sweaty intimate venues where it all began.

“We’ve missed the intensity of being able to look our audiences in the eye, we’ve missed being able to jump into the crowd without needing a ladder to get back up again, and we’ve missed being able to have a beer with you guys after the show. So that’s why we’re scaling it right down and let me tell you we are excited. We’re playing better than we’ve ever played before and we’ve an entire album’s worth of new material that’s gonna put rock’n’roll right back on the map again. It’s gonna be a special tour…bring it on!!”
Speaking before the Quinn’s bash, Cormac said, “Its been almost 10 years to the day since we first stepped onto the stage in Quinn’s Spirit Grocers, Newcastle, County Down. We’ve come a long way since then and its in no small part down to the crash course in live rock’n’roll which our two year residency in Quinn’s provided for us. I can remember crowd surfing and getting squished up against the roof because the ceiling was so low.
“Those were great times and its only got better since then. So we’re coming back home for a special one off show to ignite some old memories and catch up with some old friends and its gonna be great. You really don’t want to miss this one!!!”
The Answer have done an American and European tour supporting ACDC, and now they are planning an Ireland and UK tour… will be great!!
