Shannon condemns Graffiti in Ballynahinch saying there is no place for it in our communities

Strangford MP Jim Shannon MP for Strangford has condemned the graffiti attacks on vehicles and a Church in Ballynahinch.

Strangford MP Jim Shannon says there is no place for grafitti in Ballynahinch.

He said: “It has come to my attention that it would seem that the graffiti took place in the early hours of a Sunday morning.

“It is disgraceful that a place of worship in Main Street Ballynahinch had been targeted and I would urge anyone who has any information relating to this or other graffiti incidents to report straight to the police for investigation.

“Those accountable for this vandalism in our communities must be held accountable for their actions and punished accordingly as there is no place in society for this type of behaviour.”

JIm Shannon has appealed for anyone with information on the graffiti attacks on the church in Main Street and cars on the Belfast Road to contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers.
