Further Education College SERC is ready for enterprise week
Newry Mourne Development Enterprise Week 2021 takes place between Monday 8th November to Friday 12 November 2021 and is a week-long collection of economic supports, activities and workshop events aimed at making it easier for all Newry Mourne and Down residents and businesses to live, work, start up and grow a business in the District.
SERC are delighted to be involved and will be providing information webinar sessions on funded skills training for business, innovation funding and apprenticeships. The full details, with Eventbrite links are as follows :
on Monday 8th November SERC will host a Skill Up, The Flexible Skills Fund programme webinar covering the following:
Overview of SERC Business Services; Overview of Flexible Skills CriteriaCourses on offer, and Graduate Programme Case studies.
On Tuesday 9th November SERC will host a Innovation Funding and Support webinar covering the following –
SERC Business Services, DfE funding options for innovation 1-2-1 mentoring, Larger Innovation Programmes such as Intertrade Ireland, Knowledge Transfer Partnership and Fusion What the R&D scheme is all about, and how does it work, with Examples of R&D.
On Wednesday 10th November SERC will host a Funded Training for Business / Employers webinar covering the following –
SERC Business Services, DfE funded programme Skills Focus, Examples of training on offer, Case Studies, Bespoke training programmes, Training for businesses not eligible to Skills Focus.
On Friday 12th November SERC will host an Apprenticeships webinar covering the following –
What is an apprenticeship? Educational Routes, Skills Barometer, Apprenticeship Entry Criteria, Course progression and options, Benefits of Apprenticeships, How do I find an apprentice?
