Saintfield Horse Show Director Joan Cunningham is delighted to announce that Noel Chance, double Cheltenham Gold Cup winning trainer, will be judging The Saintfield Horse Show ‘Race Horse to Riding Horse Class’ on Saturday 13th.August at Tyrella House near Ballykinler.
She said: “The class will once again be sponsored by Downpatrick Race Course. The winner will be treated to a fantastic day for two at the Races on Ladies Day Bank Holiday Monday 29th.August.
“The day will start with a delicious lunch in the Race Course’s elegant hospitality suite. Live music and craic will follow the races. All competitors taking part will be presented with two free admission tickets for the Bank Holiday meeting and a beautiful rosette.
“There will two show jumping arenas, hunter clsses, in-hand showing for irish-draughts, fresians, traditional Irish Bred cobs. Ridden cob classes etc, Ulster Tatler Side Saddle, Working hunters for horses and ponies. Show ponies, miniature horses, pet dog classes and due to popular demand, a full range of Donkey Showing Classes are back this year.
