Road safety upgrade beside Dundrum Primary
South Down Sinn Féin MLA Cathy Mason and Slieve Croob Councillor Roisin Howell have welcomed the installation of the much-needed road safety upgrade at a Dundrum primary school.
Following a visit to the installation site, Cathy Mason said: “We warmly welcome the new crossing lights at the Sacred Heart Primary School in Dundrum. This is a vital step in improving road safety for children, parents, and staff.

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and determination of the school community, particularly the children themselves who passionately lobbied for this much-needed safety measure.
“Their voices have made a real difference, and we commend their efforts in highlighting the importance of safer routes to school.
Cllr Howell added: “Speaking to a number of parents this morning whilst the installation was happening it is clear the benefit the entire community will feel from this.xa0xa0
