Extensive ‘REAL LIVES’ Programme coming to Ballykeel.
Ballykeel Baptist Church, near Hillsborough is looking forward to welcoming the Leeds-based evangelist, Roger Carswell, for a week of special gospel meetings in a big tent in the field beside at Ballykeel Baptist Church 2nd to 9th June 2024.
Yorkshire man Roger Carswell will conduct interviews with local people, revealing the reality of what knowing Jesus has meant for these individuals. Interviewees will include Andy Cardy, Attracta Hanna, Jonny Addis, Seamus Burke, Andrew Collins, Karen Adger, and Maggie Wallace.
He has been involved in gospel work for over 40 years and works full-time speaking to students and adults about the believability of the Christian faith and its relevance to the modern world. He also writes and distributes many tracts and evangelical books. He and his wife, Dot, have four children.
Roger said: “Everyone loves a good story, especially if it is a true story. All Christians have a good story for they have a testimony to tell. I love gospel meetings held in marquees…. people can ‘loiter within tent!’.
The mission runs weeknights at 8.00pm and 8.30pm on Sundays. On Saturday 1st June Roger will speak at a special event for young adults.
Some open-door tea / coffee mornings are scheduled for anyone wishing to informally discover more.
Roger will be available to meet people and have a cup of tea or coffee at the following venues. So come along and bring your family and friends.
