Pure Gym Newry has certainly got into the community spirit by offering to sponsor local martial arts club in the Newry area, Cathal Fegan’s schools of Tae Kwon Do writes Kevin McAteer.
The Newry-based club recently took home 10 gold, 21 silver and 45 bronze medals at the recent European Championships. With the World Cup coming up later this year the local gym is more than happy to sponsor a local club within their community.
Pure Gym Newry manager Adam Mitten said: “We are delighted to be supporting Cathal and his team this year and look forward to seeing their accomplishments in 2020. The Tai Kwon Do trio have a big year coming up as they will be representing Ireland in the Tae Kwon Do World Cup in South Korea this summer. The Trio are looking to bring their training to the next level and have secured sponsorship from Pure Gym Newry to help with their training.
