Sinn Féin councillor Willie Clarke has said that the new council must work positively to deliver on the issues that are important to everyone. Cllr Clarke said: “It is important that all those elected to the new council work together and not against each other, to ensure that projects such as the Newcastle Leisure Centre are brought over the line. “Every councillor has an onus on them to work for the people who elected them to the position they are in and we must not forget that when the new council is put in place. “If elected, I will continue my work of putting the community at the heart of council and ensuring that they are at the fore of everything that is given the green light in the council chamber.”]]>
