Kingdom Healthcare Hurdles Into Sponsorship with Downpatrick Racecourse
Businesswoman Patricia Casement, the Managing Director of Kindom Healthcare, is delighted to be supporting a race at the long-established Downpatrick racecourse.
One of Northern Ireland’s leading healthcare providers, Kingdom Healthcare, has just announced its support of the Downpatrick Racecourse with its sponsorship of the Handicap Hurdle Race.
Previously known as Trackars Healthcare before merging with Kingdom Services Group last year, Kingdom Healthcare is sponsoring a race at one of the biggest fixtures of the year at Downpatrick,, with the event taking place this Bank Holiday Monday 29th August, on Ladies Day.
The Handicap Hurdle was won in 2021 by Ask The Leader, ridden by jockey D. J. O’Keeffe It is expected that a competitive field will contest The Kingdom Healthcare Handicap Hurdle, competing for a prize fund of €10,000.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Patricia Casement, Managing Director of Kingdom Healthcare said: “We have a rich history in Downpatrick and the surrounding areas as this is where Trackars was first established 16 years ago.

Over bumper crowd of spectators and punters are expected to attend the Kingdom Healthcare Handicap Hurdle, where there will also be two fashion competitions… the Most Appropriately Dressed Lady with a prize of a €2,500, and a Hannon Travel Voucher. And also Best Dressed Gent for a £500 voucher for Warnocks Gentlemen’s Outfitters.
