Crossgar business gets recognition from former dragon from Dragons’ Den
Crossgar-based business Tidying Time has received a major boost from Theo Paphitis, a former entrepreneur on Dragon’s Den.
Catherine Hamilton-Cooper, owner of Tidying Time, set up her business as the Covid-pandemic was ending.
Last week Catherine submitted details of her business idea to Theo Paphitis on Instagram during ‘Small Business Sunday’. And she was one of six weekly winners across the whole of the UK!
Her professional decluttering and organising business has received a significant business boost from entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.
Business and retail entrepreneur, Theo shared this fantastic news about Catherine’s innovative start-up to his near half a million Twitter followers, and his over 40,000 Instagram followers.
As a result of this, Tidying Time has increased their social media followers and increased business exposure.
Tidying Time are also profiled on the #SBS website that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.
Additionally Catherine can attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of the networking opportunities.
Catherine Hamilton-Cooper said: “I’ve had my first full year in business during 2022. I am so passionate about my job, and love seeing the life changing difference my work with clients can make.
“It is great to have support from Theo. It has really helped raise Tidying Time’s profile. Theo has recognised my hard work and helped spread the word about what I do to his following.”
Small business champion and at the helm of Ryman Stationery and Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.
“My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club.
“They are like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Tidying Time every success.”
Catherine Hamilton-Cooper said: “I’m so excited to be attending the annual #SBS networking event in Birmingham on 24th February 2023.
“I will meet Theo in person and receive my Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday Winner Certificate.
“I will have the opportunity to network with so many professionals, make connections and explore ways that I can help more people through Tidying Time. What an amazing start to 2023.”
