ENTERPRISE Minister Arlene Foster has hailed the international investment conference as a major success.
The Minister was speaking as delegates returned home from the major event which was attended by 121 international companies, plus a further 14 key influencers from overseas governments. This included 55 prospective investors.
The conference was organised by Invest Northern Ireland in association with UKTI and sponsored by Danske Bank and British Airways.
Arlene Foster said: “Globally we are a small economy but we are an increasingly important one for international investors seeking the best people, infrastructure and business environment from which to grow their business. 
“Organising this major conference in such a short space of time and securing the attendance of such high profile global business people is a tremendous achievement. I was proud to hear existing investors speaking at the conference and give such clear and unequivocal endorsements of Northern Ireland as an investment location.
“The exhibition at Titanic Belfast profiled every region of Northern Ireland, focusing on our key sectors and existing local and international companies. It profiled key tourist destinations, from the beauty of the Mournes and Fermanagh lakes to our City of Culture and Giant’s Causeway.”
