This week has seen a busy schedule for the Ladies team with two challenge matches. First was against a fellow Junior team, Loughinisland on Monday night where the girls came out strong winners in what was a fantastic team performance. On Sunday night they faced Senior team Kilcoo and despite another great team performance they were narrowly beaten by only 4 points. However, the management are extremely happy with the result as a number of players were missing and even with that the girls gave kilcoo a very competitive game. With these results the season ahead should be very rewarding indeed. Training continues on Monday and Wednesday night at 6.45pm at the pitch.
The senior men had their first league match at home to Ardglass on Friday. Despite a valiant effort the boys were narrowly beaten. Hopefully with the cobwebs now blown off they will find their form and get the results they deserve next time. Training continues Wednesday nights at the pitch.
The Under-16’s got their league campaign of to a winning start when they defeated Ballymartin on Thursday night. The boys Minor team also won their first game at home against Castlewellan on Tuesday night.  Training for all juvenille teams takes place on Wednesday at 6pm.
