Ballywalter flute band performs in the next free concert at Lemon’s Wharf, Donaghadee this Sunday (3 August).
Organised by Ards Borough Council, the now annual series of free afternoon concerts which aim to attract visitors to local towns on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy some music and bring additional trade to local cafes and restaurants, will see the local flute band bring a recital of classic and contemporary music to Newtownards town centre.
Speaking about the forthcoming concert, the Mayor of Ards, Councillor Philip Smith said: “Ballywalter Flute Band is a popular local band and I’m delighted that they will be performing as part of this year’s programme. I have no doubt the crowds will continue to come to enjoy great music in a great outdoor venue.”
