Crossgar Trainer McBratney Enjoys Success At Down Royal

Crossgar trainer Colin McBratney recorded the sole local training success at the North Ireland Festival of Racing at Down Royal last weekend writes Joe Kavanagh.

The County Down handler sent out two runners in the Beginners Chase with Topper Thornton and Quickasyoucan, and it was the first named that prevailed after favourite Noble Endeavour made a bad blunder at the final fence.

Quickasyoucan on his seasonal debut finished third filling the same position in the race to the previous year at the local festival event.
