Motorbike Safety Event Coming To Newtownards

Join this motorbike road safety session on Saturday 16th March at the Newtownards Town Hall from 11am – 1pm, for a ‘Motorbike Safe’ awareness event.

Motorbikers are invited by the police to a road safety session in Newtownards this Saturday 16th March and will have a chance to chat to superbiker Danny Kent.

Arranged by our local Inspector Nigel Donnelly, the Road Safety Lead for the Police Service in Ards and North Down, the event will provide security advice on protecting your motorbike, and how to stay safe on the roads when riding a motorbike.

The session will also include an appearance by Danny Kent, a former Super Motorbike racer, best known for winning the 2015 Moto3 World Championship, and Danny will have his World Superbike on display for attendees to see.

Inspector Donnelly said: “This is a free event for any motorbike enthusiast. Local officers and I, including Danny Kent, will be available for a question and answer session during the aforementioned times.

“So please come along, we look forward to meeting you!”
