Ballymote Pharmacy in association with Vivomed recently agreed to sponsor St Mary’s High School Sixth Form Health and Social Care students by donating medical equipment to assist with practical classroom-based training.

“With recent budget cuts, schools have had to get more creative in sourcing such items for classroom use. Collaboration with local businesses and garnering their support is one of the ways that St Mary’s High School ensures that it’s pupils receive the best possible access to a comprehensive learning environment.”
Ballymote pharmacy, situated in the Ballymote Community Centre just outside Downpatrick on the Killough Road has been serving the local community since 1995. Proprietor Ronnie Lennon said: ‘We are delighted to sponsor St Mary’s High School Health & Social Care students and to be able to support their practical training.”
