From Friday 3 April, the Norman Castle at Greencastle will be open to the public between 10am and dusk. This will change as the days get longer up to 7pm.
You can walk, cycle or drive to Greencastle castle. Why not park at Cranfield and take the beach route to the Castle, about half an hour away?
Enjoy the views of  Carlingford Lough, the Mournes and the Cooleys from inside the castle. Bring binoculars and you will still see the Brent Geese along the Millbay shore and you might spot a few seals and terns around the protected Green Island.
