“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars!”
The Year 13 English A Level class from St Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan, attended the Mac Theatre, Belfast, on Saturday 1 April to watch not one, but eight Oscar Wildes performing ‘The Importance of Being Earnest.‘
An all-male cast with musical interludes made for an exciting and innovative performance which really helped the sixth year students understand the comedy and satire in their A-Level text. The students were accompanied by their teacher Mrs Pauline Burgess.
