The annual St John’s GAC Golf Classic will once again be held at Spa Golf Club on Wednesday 12th July 2017. Tee times are now available to book from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
The cost is £30 per person (£20 for Spa Golf Club members) which includes green fee, goody bag and a meal.
You can also sponsor a hole for £50 or sponsor £20 to be listed on the sponsors board.

St Johns GAC celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. We will be holding a number of events to mark this occasion, including a Gala Ball in the Carrickdale Hotel on Saturday 4 November 2017 (more details to follow).
We are also compiling a book to celebrate this anniversary and would like anyone with club photographs, visual materials or memorabilia contact speak to either Rory McMullan, Mary Boyle or Stephen Magorrian.
Action Cancer’s Big Bus will be back at the club on Saturday 9th September, with appointments from 9.30am to 3.20pm. The Big Bus provides two services which are now available to book:
1. If you are a women aged 40-49 or over 70 you are eligible to make an appointment for breast screening on the BIG BUS. The charity is the only place in Northern Ireland for women outside of NHS age range to avail of a breast screening for free so this is a great opportunity. The screening takes only a few minutes and for the majority of women provides peace of mind.
2. MOT Health Checks are open to all regardless of age and gender and they are a great way to get a current picture of your health. The check takes about 20 minutes and you will receive a variety of tests, such as blood pressure and cholesterol, body composition, muscle mass and hydration level.The health promotion officer carrying out your assessment will be able to provide advice and information about lifestyle improvements and cancer prevention.

A Mass and celebration night has been planned for Fr Peter Donnellys Golden Jubilee on 29th June at 7pm in St John’s GAC. There will be a buffet and entertainment afterwards.
