Future Leaders Offered Fully Funded Training at SERC.

South Eastern Regional College (SERC) is recruiting students for a fully funded intensive programme aimed at reskilling people who have been furloughed, made redundant or have had their employment opportunities affected by Covid-19.

The Skills Intervention Programme, funded by the Department for Economy, offers the opportunity for candidates to gain a CMI Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification. The 8-week Future Leaders course is set to commence on 1 February and is open to all graduates.

SERC is offering graduates a free, 8-week course in leadership and management if you are unemployed or furloughed.

Debbie Scott, Business Services Consultant at SERC said: “COVID-19 has presented many challenges to the business community and it is vital those employees who have been furloughed or have been made redundant are supported.

She added: “Delivered online by SERC, this course focuses on upskilling and reskilling in Management and Leadership.  It is a fantastic opportunity for someone to fast track and pick up a highly sought Level 5 qualification.

“This fully-funded training will help prepare candidates for the return to their current employment or facilitate a move to new employment – both options are necessary to rebuild the Northern Ireland economy.”
