Creeper-style burglary in Newry in Chancellor’s Road area
Detectives are appealing for information following a creeper style burglary at the Chancellor’s Road area of Newry.
Detective Sergeant Curley said: “Sometime between midnight and around 5.45am on Sunday 21stxa0July, it was reported that a black Ford Ranger and a red Renault Kadjar were stolen from a property in the area.
It was reported that entry was gained to the rear of the property and the keys for both vehicles were taken. The Ford Ranger remains outstanding at this time, with the Renault Kadjar recovered following the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to this incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 385 21/07/24.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
