The Down GAA Clubs Draw returns for 2021.

The Club would like to express deepest sympathies to the Connor, Wright and Curran families following the passing of William, Jock and Paula.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all families at this sad time.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

As we enter our 50th Anniversary in 2021 we hope that our supporters near and far will once again avail of the opportunity to buy a ticket. Tickets are available from any committee member or contact the Facebook page to get more details writes Deborah Shields.

  • Total Prize Fund £110,000
  • 10 Prize Draws
  • £120 up front payment for the year or £10 Monthly direct debit.

We are asking you all to join in the GAA ‘Every step counts’ challenge which will start this Wednesday 14th and run until 3rd March. There was a delay in the start date for the 6th Jan but it is ready to begin this week.

The challenge is divided across the 4 provinces. The goal in the 8 weeks is for a club to collectively walk 4000k, which is approximately the distance around Ireland. Clubs that reach the 4000k goal will be entered into competition with 5k prize fund of ONeills vouchers.

To register download the MyLife app, and join the Ulster challenge and select Ardglass.

Try to sync your device over next day so your steps get counted when challenge starts from this Wednesday.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the roads, socially distanced of course. It will help us all stay happy, healthy and sane during this lockdown.

Our Club gear is now live and available to purchase from: www.oneills.com

The club still have official Ardglass GAC face masks for sale. We have kids and adult masks available – £6 each. To order contact club Secretary Ruth on:  07809290306

Our weekly lotto continues online with the current Jackpot sitting at £1700.  We understand many people prefer our traditional door to door collection but with current restrictions it just isn’t possible at present.  We do hope things change soon and we can get back to our normal way of doing things.

If you do want to continue doing lotto but don’t have online access but would like to do lotto, why not ask a friend or family member to complete the online process for you.

There is a function to play for someone else and you can prepare for as many weeks as you like.  To play lotto go to:

 www.klubfunder.com

and select Ardglass GAC or download the Klubfunder app.

As previously stated, we hope to open an exhibition in the summer for our 50th celebrations and would like to remind everyone, if any members/past members have pictures, memorabilia or newspaper cuttings to get in touch. You can contact any committee member or let our club secretary know – 07809290306/Secretary.ardglass.down@gaa.ie
