nd GR8 DUNDRUM RUN. Patrick Kielty was back on his home turf in Dundrum this week where he was lending his support to the 2nd GR8 DUNDRUM RUN launch. Patrick who acted as a compere for the inaugural GR8 DUNDRUM RUN last year enjoyed the day so much that he can’t wait to come back and actually run the race this time round. He said, “If you want to push yourself to the limit, it might as well be looking at the greatest view in the world and the place I’m lucky enough to call home,” Patrick said. Carol Mc Menamin, PR officer for the race, said that Murlough AC are delighted that Patrick is lending his support to the event this year. “Patrick never misses an opportunity to support his home village of Dundrum. We are confident that with Patrick’s support this year’s event will be even bigger and better than last year’s race. Since the race was launched just over a week ago, over 120 people have entered online. Most of them are runners who took part in last year’s event which says a lot”, added Carol. The 8-mile multi-terrain race which is organised in conjunction with The National Trust is like no other race on the calendar. A combination of Road, beach and boardwalk, ensures that runners will be in for a real scenic treat as they make their way around the well chosen course. Entries are limited so do not be disappointed. Enter on-line today by visiting www.niathletics.org [caption id="attachment_25424" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="xxxxxx"][/caption] ]]>
