This is a big problem throughout Northern Ireland as so many housing estates such as this were built when the number of vehicles was much lower and access was no problem. “Nowadays , however, many families have two or more vehicles. This kind of problem comes up regularly at the Northern Ireland Housing Council. In this case the problem could cause serious problems, for example, if emergency services had to get immediate access they might not be able to get close enough to be effective. “I shall be writing to the N.I.Housing Executive to ask them is there anything that they can do to improve this access problem without disturbing the amenity of the area,” said Councillor O’Neill.]]>
