Newcastle Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud

A woman was convicted at Downpatrick Magistrates’ court yesterday (Monday 3rd October) for claiming benefits she was not entitled to. Kylie Sloan (30) of Tollymore Cottages claimed Income Support totalling £6,987 while failing to declare employment. She was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years. She is also required to repay any money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency. ]]>
