DOE in fact suffered the biggest percentage cut of any department and there is a strong possibility of further cuts this year.
“That said, I want to re-assure people that Narrow Water Keep in Warrenpoint and Green Castle Royal Castle will be open during the summer months. These are two valuable heritage assets in the South Down area and I want to ensure that local people and visitors alike, enjoy them during summer, the busiest tourist season. “What I am about is seeking to use our historical assets to boost the local economy and opening these sites will certainly help that as well as giving people a great day out.” The opening times for both Narrow Water Keep and Greencastle Royal Castle will be published on: www.discovernorthernireland.com]]>
