The Down Arts Centre in Downpatrick kicks off their November Programme with Flash Harry in The Great Hall, Downshire Estate, Saturday 5 November at 8pm.
Flash Harry has toured for over two decades celebrating the music of Queen and Freddie Mercury, playing in venues all over Ireland, the UK, America and the Middle East. Favourite anthems such as ‘We Are the Champions’ to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, the band show their diversity, talent and love of the music.
Down Arts Centre also is hosting a 1916 Tim McGarry as he ‘Goes Over the Top’ as part of his current tour, in The Great Hall, Downshire Estate Saturday 12 November at 8pm. Tim McGarry (Blame Game, Give My Head Peace) returns with a brand new stand-up show about our history.
The Illegals with Niamh Kavanagh will play in Down Arts Centre Friday 25 to Saturday 26 November at 8pm. The show features a special tribute to Glenn Frey, founding member of The Eagles and icon of the west coast sound. After 20 years of attracting the crowds, The Illegals remain as popular as ever with audiences up and down the country.
