Lecale & Downe Historical Society Review to be launched on Thursday 26th October
The Lecale & Downe Historical Society will be launching Number 21 of its annual journal, Lecale Review, on Thursday, 26th October at the Saint Patrick Centre, Downpatrick at 7:30pm.
Philip Blair, co-author, said: “Packed full of interesting stories from Lecale and surrounding parts of County Down, the journal, which will be officially launched by Dr Finbar McCormick, is sure to be another popular read.
“Members can collect their complimentary copy of the journal from 7pm and further copies will be available to buy on the night price at just £10.
“Look out for sales of the journal in various outlets, which will be highlighted on the Facebook page of the Society.
