Lecale Conservation is holding its AGM on Tuesday 8 November beginning at 8pm in the Ballydugan Mill just outside Downpatrick.
The guest speaker will be Dr Eimear Rooney, Secretary of the NI Raptor Study Group, who will talk about the falcons, hawks and owls of this corner of Co Down. This will be of particular interest to farmers thinking about erecting nest boxes to encourage rodent-eating barn owls and kestrels on their land.
Le ale Conservation is an environmental lobby and interest group which addresses a wide range of issues from the state of our beaches and woodlands to animal welfare.
Everyone is welcome.
