“Not only was the weather extremely poor for the bees and for honey collection.  But the largest confirmation of notifiable diseases were discovered in Northern Ireland.  This makes it even more important to attend your local association meeting as bees are key pollinators in in natural environment.
“You are welcome to keep up to date about the latest information, news and concerns about bees and attend our meeting.
“If you are interested in becoming a bee keeper and help us with our fight to help and support our local honey bees, you are welcome to join us as our guest.
“Our guest speaker for the evening will be our local Bee Inspector, Tom Williamson.
“We will also be holding an awards evening for our successful recent exams and honey show results, and our AGM will be held following normal business.
“Every one welcome.”
