Crossgar Family Fun Run To Support Glasswater Primary School
It’s time to lace up your running shoes and join Glasswater Primary School in Crossgar for an evening of fitness, fun and community spirit at the Glasswater Primary School Family Fun Run!
Organised in association with Atlas Running, this event promises an enjoyable experience for participants of all ages and abilities.
Funds raised from the Family Fun Run will directly benefit the Glasswater Primary School library.
The fun run will enabling the purchase of new books, educational materials, technology upgrades, and other resources to enrich the learning experience for students.
Mr Jason Milligan, school principal said: “The evening will kick off at Glasswater Primary School, Crossgar at 5.30pm on Friday 10th May.
“Participants can choose between a 1km run/walk and a 5km run/walk.
“Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll with family and friends, there’s something for everyone at the Family Fun Run.
“We’re thrilled to host the Family Fun Run as a way to promote health and wellness within our community while also raising funds to support our beloved school library.
“The library plays a crucial role in fostering a love for reading and learning among our pupils, and the proceeds from this event will go directly towards enhancing its resources and facilities.”
Registration for the Family Fun Run is now open.
