Strangford MP wishes constituents a happy new year for 2024

Letter to the Editor.

Dear Editor,

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish my constituents a very Happy New Year.

“I often look at New Year as being a time of renewal and for many of us it can be a time to re-evaluate our goals and reset.

“For some, there are troubling times ahead, test results to come back or other issues that are difficult to face and I know this can also be a lonely time for some and what I would say is what my mum has always said to me – it is always darkest before the dawn.

“Hold on, the day is coming and with it there is hope.

“I am so thankful to represent the best constituency in the UK with the kindest, most decent and most honourable people.

“And as we face this New Year, I pray that we do so together as a community to help those who need help, comfort those who mourn and celebrate with those who rejoice.

“This is my New Year Wish for you all, and as always, I remain at your service.
