Have Your Say On Policing And Crime In North Down And Ards

North Down and Ards Policing and Community Safety Partnership are giving residents a chance to have their say on policing and crime in their area by taking just seven minutes out of their day to complete a consultation survey.

dn_screenFor the first time the survey can be completed online or hard copies are also available.

Issues highlighted during previous consultations have included anti-social behaviour, road safety, alcohol and drug relations problems, domestic burglary, attacks on the elderly and paramilitary activity.

Chair of Ards PCSP, Councillor Alan McDowell, and Chair of North Down PCSP, Councillor Alan Graham, took some time out to complete their surveys while enjoying a cup of coffee in a local café and are urging the community to do the same.

“We hope the residents of North Down and Ards can spare some time to have their say and fill out this important survey. It took each of us only 7 minutes to complete the survey, both on the ipad and by pen. This survey forms an important part of our work in finding out what the community want from the PSNI and what they think about policing and community safety.”

The survey will help determine local policing priorities for the new joint North Down and Ards council by providing an understanding of how satisfied people are with the PSNI in their areas.

You can find the survey online at:

or Ards PSNI Facebook page. You can also request a hard copy by contacting Ards PCSP on 028 9182 4070 or North Down PCSP on 028 9127 8054.
