With a week to go in the Irish Life Steps Challenge it is still very tight at the top of the leaderboard with only a few steps between Clare Walsh and Kevin McGlynn while Paula McCann sits in comfortable striking distance.

Paddy Walsh is closing on the leading group but the finish line may come too soon for him.

But is really only a bit of fun and a way to get people up and active. More significantly St John’s are still 750km away from entry into the draw for €2,500 of O’Neill’s gear.
