Finance Minister Máirtín Ó Muilleoir ha said he wishes to reach out to all sectors of the North and engage in a productive way.
He said: “Engagement is at the heart of everything we do in government and I want to reach out to our partners in business, the community sector and to the ordinary man and woman on the street. It’s important that everyone is aware of the work taking place to create a better and more prosperous society for all and crucially, that their voices are heard in the process.
“This morning I held another round of EU Referendum talks at Deloitte’s headquarters in Belfast with some key players in business as well as trade unions and the voluntary sector. We got some useful insights into the concerns and challenges being faced across the board and I was struck by the common desire to push through and do the best for our economy and our people.
“This important meeting went out on Periscope – the first ever government meeting here to be broadcast live – and is still available on my department’s Twitter account. As part of my commitment to serve the community, I want to use the channels available to us to connect with as many people as possible, so make sure you follow us on Twitter
