The Soda Popz is a sensational seven piece live band featuring some of Northern Ireland’s top musicians/vocalists. Their fabulous ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’ show pays a memorable tribute to some of the best-loved hits from the fabulous 1950’s/60’s as well as giving some modern tunes a rock ‘n’ roll twist! Take a nostalgic trip back to the dance hall days with this action packed, fully costumed, non-stop Rock ‘n’ Roll show which has been wowing audiences all over the country!
Vocalist Michelle Baird said: “Being raised in a home where this type of music was always playing, I couldn’t help but develop a real love for the fabulous 50s! The music, the style, the stories of the dance halls were fascinating. My parents used to constantly jive in the kitchen too which was fun to watch but unfortunately they didn’t pass their dancing skills onto me!
“I decided to form The Soda Popz as no-one in Northern Ireland was really performing this genre of music and it’s been such great fun to do. Our audiences have really got into it whether it’s coming along in full 50s style or up jiving during our set! It’s great!”
Featuring the songs of Johnny Cash, Elvis, The Drifters, Connie Francis and much more, this two hour spectacular is guaranteed to get you dancing in the aisles! So put your glad rags on and take a trip down memory lane for an experience you’ll never forget!
