Pregnant Women Invited To Take Flu and Covid-19 vaccination
The Ulster Hospital Maternity Unit will be offering COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations to pregnant women this December.
Women are encouraged to attend the vaccination clinics to protect themselves and their babies against illness this winter.
Midwife and Lead Nurse for the Vaccination Programme, Kate McGarrigle said: “It is important for pregnant women to have both COVID-19 and Flu vaccines as they are at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell.
“I would encourage all pregnant women to come along to one of our maternity vaccination clinics where we will have a midwife available to offer advice and support.”
