REPRESENTATIVES from the Down District Policing Partnership (DDPP) and Down Community Safety Partnership (DDCSP) met recently to discuss proposals for a future joint policing and community safety partnership. Down District Councillor William Dick, DDPP Chairman, explained, “This is an exciting time for these two local partnerships as we have identified a number of ways we can work together and help improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.” Also, Councilor Micky Coogan, DCSP Chairman added, “Sharing the resources we have in the CSP with our colleagues in the DPP and vice versa means we can improve the service we provide, which will of course benefit the entire community.” [caption id="attachment_19589" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Councillor William Dick, Chairman of Down District Policing Partnership, Vincent Fullam, Vice Chairman of Down District Community Safety Partnership, Councillor Michael Coogan, Chair of the Community Safety Partnership with Una Kelly, Partnership member at a recent meeting to discuss proposals for a future joint Policing and Community Safety.
