Carlingford Ferry To Get Crowd Over To Peninsula Ploughing

With the Convoy to Peninsula Ploughing taking place this weekend in Cooley, Co. Louth, Scenic Carlingford Ferry is on hand to help the revellers make the most of their weekend.

The new Carlingford Ferry which runs between Greencastle and Greenore.

Festival goers can capitalise on the significant time savings offered by the ferry, taking just 15-20 minutes to cross the lough compared to almost an hour and a half on the road, they can sit back relax and enjoy everything the weekend has to offer.

Ferry crossings run on the hour from 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 9pm on Sunday from Greencastle and from 7.30 am to 9.30pmMonday to Saturday and 9.30am to 9.30pm on Sunday from Greenore, offering festival goers every opportunity to get to and from the event and enjoy everything it has to offer.

The Convoy to Peninsula Ploughing in Cooley boasts Nathan Carter as the headline event on Friday evening, as well as other acts across the weekend including Declan Nerney, Marty Mone and Hugo Duncan. With ploughing, vintage displays, sheep racing, lorry convoys, funfairs, barbeques and food and gift stalls it promises to be a fun-filled weekend for all the family.
