Down Business Connect launches ‘Protecting you and your business’ event & open morning.
On Tuesday, 26th November, local networking business referral group Down Business Connect, is inviting businesses in the Downpatrick and greater area to its first ‘Protecting you and your business’ event.
The Open Morning is a chance for local business owners and management to attend Down Business Connect, hear from expert speakers and to meet members of the group.
The speaker line-up will feature Chris Wynne, Fraud & Cyber Crime Manager with Danske Bank and Damian McLarnonfrom St. James’s Place Wealth Management who will be delivering guidance to business owners on the importance of protecting your business, business partnerships, and yourself in retirement.
Formed by likeminded businessmen and women in the Down area, the Down Business Connect Group meets fortnightly and is comprised of members across a broad range of sectors who come together to meet, make new contacts and share business advice and expertise.
Taking place at Denvir’s Hotel, Downpatrick on Tuesday 26th November at 7am for a 7.30am start, the DBC Open Morning aims to attract more members to the Group, increasing the size of the network and therefore opportunities for growth for its members.
With only one member per sector, the Group is hoping to add a number of different professions to the network, and welcomes interest from all business people in the area who are interested in growing their businesses, sharing learnings and benefitting from peer advice.
Brendan Kearney, Chairperson, of Down Business Connect said: “Down Business Connect was established to provide a supportive network of contacts and opportunities for business growth for local businesses. Our Group is already proving to be advantageous for members, and real business is being done, as well as invaluable connections being made.
“We always welcome new members and would encourage any local business owners who are interested in finding out more about the group and hearing from our speakers to please attend. You’d be most welcome.”
At the forthcoming Down Business Connect open morning on Tuesday 26th November, guests will find out more about what Down Business Connect can do for their business and they’ll have a chance to meet members and hear first-hand how the Group benefits their businesses.
The open morning event is free to attend and will take place at Denvir’s Hotel, Downpatrick, beginning at 7.30am sharp and running until 9am.
