Saturday night saw the Ladies take on Aughlisnafin in Annsborough. Unfortunately the ladies had their first loss of the season with a very determined and eager Finn outfit coming away 4-8 to 2-8 victors. Although disappointed with the outcome the ladies look forward to redeeming themselves when they face the Finn again in the championship. Training on Tuesday night is at 6.30pm sharp, managers want a full turn out writes Ciara Sharvin.Well done to Bright senior men who came out strong winners against local rivals Ballykinlar on Friday night. The end score was 1-14 to 0-1. Excellent team perfomance and 100% effort was shown by everyone. Fantastic scores from BJ McMenamin (1.06), Freddie O’Connor (0.04), James Hanna (0.01), Conor McAllister (0.01), Caolan Tumelty (0.01) and Matthew Burns (0.01). Great to see a win, lets keep up the good work.  Also best wishes to Nicky O’Connor who sustained a shoulder injury during the match. We hope you have a quick recovery & see you back on the pitch soon. Training continues Monday night, a big turnout is required The Under-10’s would like to call on all boys and girls to come out to play. Training takes place on Wednesdayevenings at 6pm with a blitz normally taking place on Saturday. Come along and join in the fun.
