The news on the Senior men’s front is that the league commences Sunday 24 March at home to Dromara.xa0 Training has started, and date and times of which are available on the Bright GAC facebook page. The Juvenille teams will now be starting their training schedules.xa0 Under -14 and 16 training starts on Tuesday 12 February in Bright Community Hall, Ballynoe at 6.30pm. The under-12 and under-14 girls will train Thursday 21 February at 7pm.xa0 We need to get everyone training and ready for the season ahead and hopefully build on last year’s success. There will be a Child Protection course held in Drumaness club Wednesday 13 February at 7pm. It’s compulsory that all coaches/managers have a valid certificate. There will be a registration night held in the Parochial House in Killough on 1 March at 7pm. Also membership can still be paid to any committee member.xa0 All memberships must be paid by 1 March. Any paid after this time will not be eligible to be put in the draw for All Ireland Final tickets.xa0 Membership prices are as follows; Family – £70 (two non-playing parents plus 2 under-18’s either playing or not) 65 & over – £20 Juvenille – £15 (under 18) Student – £25 (must be fulltime & student card must be shown) Adult player – £50 Non playing Adult – £30 The recent Pub Quiz held in Minerstown Tavern was well supported, it was a great nights craic and helped raise some much needed funds for the Club.xa0 Special thanks to Sean Rogan for supplying the venue and lovely food and also to Quiz Master John McGrath for the challenging questions. The local Bingo continues to run every Sunday at 8pm in Bright Hall, Ballynoe, come along and try your luck. Bright Community Hall is available for hire.
