With less than eight weeks until Christmas, Ballynahinch is getting into the festive spirit with the confirmation of its Christmas Lights Celebrations.
Down District Council in association with Ballynahinch Revitalisation Committee is delighted to host a FREE Christmas event on Friday 21 November 2014 in Ballynahinch from 6pm – 8.30pm.
Festive entertainment will be on offer throughout the town to include live music, carol singing, street performers, face painting, a petting farm and much more.
Cllr Anne McAleenan, Ballynahinch Revitalisation Chairperson, said, “This event will showcase the recent investment in new Christmas lighting for the town through the Revitalisation Programme, which is funded by the Department for Social Development (DSD).
“We are really looking forward to the event and hope the local community pay a visit to Ballynahinch on the 21 November. There are plenty of great shops, most of which will be extending their opening hours on the big night.”
Down District Council Chairman, Cllr William Walker added: “This event promises to be a fun filled evening for all the family and demonstrates the hard work and commitment of the town’s revitalisation committee and the support from DSD.”
