Paul Morrison, exhibiting his work in the Down Arts Centre in Downpatrick from Friday 6 March 2015 to Saturday 4 April 2015, is an emerging Irish artist who lives and works in Belfast. His work is held both in public and private collections throughout the world.
Most recently he was chosen for a prestigious commission to paint a Belfast cityscape for the Prime Minister, David Cameron, for his Downing Street offices. Also 100 signed and framed copies have been presented to executives of investing companies who attended an investment conference, which was held in Belfast in the aftermath of the g8 summit.
He said: “I create paintings that are pleasing to the eye and somewhat traditional in their style. My recent body of work focuses mainly on Irish landscape/cityscape because architecture plays a dominant role in my work.
“I have also experimented with different painting styles which convey emotions and memories of the places that I have visited.
