Three men aged 31 and 42 have been arrested by police on suspicion of a range of drugs offences after police stopped a car in the Castlewellan area on.
Police uncovered a quantity of suspected heroin and suspected diazepam tablets.
A follow up search at a nearby address revealed further quantities of what is believed to be heroin and prescription medication.
A 60-year old man at the address was subsequently arrested at that location on suspicion of drugs offences.
All three remain in custody this morning.
Sergeant Barry Moore said: “This seizure again demonstrates our commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our communities and to eradicating the pain and harm they cause.
“We continue to target criminals who seek to gain from the illegal drugs trade and from the misfortune of others.
