“If you go down to the woods today…..” with Claire Samways on The Chris Scott Show, FM105 Down Community Radio (7-8pm) this coming Wednesday.

This week Chris goes into the woods at Glasswater Wood, Crossgar, County Down where he is joined by Claire Samways. Claire is founder of Wild Wood Crafts.  She runs The Honeybees Forest School for children aged 7 to 12 years.

Claire and Chris take a stroll around the forest and Claire talks about her tree planting projects, coppicing and much much more.  They are also pleasantly surprised by the sighting of a woodpecker in the forest!

“Claire created Wild Wood Crafts to share her passions, gifts and talents to others with the idea that she could be part of a change movement and inspire others on their journey to connect with nature…….”
It certainly is an inspiring interview, not to be missed!!

Later on in the programme The Castlewellan Studio Players return with their production of “Ice Cubes and Lettuce” written by Mark Asante, one of the Players.  This is the first episode to be broadcast and this is the first airing on your community radio, FM105.

A packed programme not to be missed!!
