St John’s GAC Club Notes For Sunday 10th March 2024

St Joh’s GAC members enjoying a busy time at the club as the season gets under way

A special thanks to everyone who helped with the big clean up last weekend.

A massive thank you to Martin O’Donnell from @a_moderntalk for speaking with our ladies teams for an insight into Sports Psychology!

We discussed the benefits of sports psychology to an individual performer and giving us two key words to keep our #gameface in tough situations in a game or during training. All players and coaches who participated really enjoyed the Q & A and discussions.

For more info on sports psychology go to Martin’s page on: https://amoderntalk.com

St John’s are holding our annual Ladies 7s tournament in memory of Siobhán McCann on Saturday 23rd March and would like to invite you all to join us in, whether it may be helping out on the day as there are plenty of jobs to be done or helping out in the background.

This is a big day for our wee club and it takes all the helping hands we can get!

Throughout the day we will have raffle tickets sellers, but a raffle is not a raffle without prizes. We are seeking individuals/businesses to support our raffle by donating any prize they can, no matter how big or small, every little donation is greatly appreciated!

If you feel you can help in any way possible, please contact Gráinne on 07549020025.

Many thanks for your continued support!
