The club held its AGM in the clubrooms on Thursday night. A number of the positions remain vacant and will be filled by the incoming committee plus there may be a few additional committee members due to the fact that a number of members could not make it to the AGM due to the adverse weather conditions on the night writes Eugene O’Boyle.
The committee for the incoming year is President – Fr Donnelly, Vice President – Vacant, Chairperson – Rory McMullan, Secretary – Kevin McGlynn, Treasurer – Una Savage, Vice-Chairperson – Vacant, Assistant Secretary – Mary Boyle,  Assistant Treasurer – Vacant, Registrar – Stephen Magorrian, Fixtures Secretary – Vacant, County Board Representative – Sean Quinn, PRO – Eugene O’Boyle, Cultural – Vacant, Safety Officer – Brendan McCann, Players Rep (Football) – Martin Keenan, Ladies Football Rep – Siobhan McCann & Ryan Addis, Camogie Rep – Noelle Noade, Health & Wellbeing – Kevin McGlynn. The additional members of the committee are Vincent Arkins, Mickey Flynn, Alan Henderson, Pep Keenan, Kieran Kelly, Cormac McMullan and Maureen Ward.
The Senior presentation night will be held in the clubrooms on Saturday night 22 November.
The Juvenile presentation night has been postponed. The revised date will be advised when it has been confirmed.
The Under-6’s and Under-8’s have continued on from the successful football/training season with a Tuesday night club in the clubrooms for those wishing to take part. Activities include basic football techniques, matches, obstacle courses, rounders, basketball and other fun activities. This is now being held on Tuesday nights from 6.30-7.30pm and the cost is £1.00 per child. Contact Mandy on 07950 999 429 or Breanda on 07730 676 296.
The latest batch of training jerseys are available for collection from the clubrooms on Wednesday evening from 8.00pm. All tops must be paid for when they are collected. The club shop is closed for the season but if you wish to order any club gear contact Pep Keenan on 07779 613 468.
Could all available help be at the club on Wednesday at 8.00pm to help clean and setup the clubrooms for the senior presentation this weekend.
The partnership with Action Cancer continued last week with the clubrooms hosting a one-off Health Promotion Lunchbox session last Wednesday night and Saturday saw the return of the Big Bus to the club.
Lotto numbers were 12, 19, 26 and 28. Mary Walsh was a £10 winner. The jackpot next week is now £4,350.
