Ards Arts Centre will host a full day ‘spooktacular’ Halloween Arts Scheme on Monday 27 October.
Open to children aged between 6 and 12, the day-long programme includes creepy arts and crafts, spooky storytelling and ghoulish games, with every session led by professional artists.
Amy McKelvey, Community Arts Development Officer with Ards Borough Council, said: “This is a fun-filled, activity-packed day when kids get to explore their creativity and to produce their own unique works of art. Games and storytelling adds a different dimension to the day and we’d encourage any parents looking for something different for their child, whether a boy or girl, to give it a go”.
The scheme costs £15 per child (participants are required to bring their own packed lunch and snacks) and takes place on Monday 27 October 2014 (10.00am – 4.00pm) in Ards Arts Centre, Town Hall, Conway Square, Newtownards.
