South Down Is Better Off In The EU Says Alliance Councillor Patrick Brown

The EU referendum is approaching fast and strong arguments are being presented on both sides.

Newly Mourne and Down District Councillor who represents the Rowallene area for Alliance, said: xa0″Alliance has always been a pro-European and internationalist party. We can appreciate that the EU is not perfect, but the benefits it brings to Northern Ireland socially, economically and politically far outweigh its problems.

“On 23rd June I hope you’ll join Alliance in voting to REMAIN and allow us to continue working towards a more accountable and transparent EU, and a more outward looking and inclusive Northern Ireland that embraces international cooperation.”
